These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of PlanMyLoans ("we", "us", "the site", "planmyloans.in"). By using this site, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, the simplest thing to do is not use the site.
1. What this site is
PlanMyLoans is a free, independently-run illustrative planning tool. It's operated by one person, not a company, bank, NBFC, or licensed financial institution. It helps you model a home loan against your own money (down payment, EMI, prepayment, and an SWP or bank corpus) so you can see the numbers more clearly. That's all it is.
2. Not advice, not a loan offer
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal, or investment advice, and none of it should be treated as a recommendation to buy, borrow, invest, or make any specific financial decision. PlanMyLoans is not a lender, broker, or advisor, doesn't process loan applications, and nothing you see here is a loan offer, pre-approval, or commitment from any bank or financial institution. Any affiliate links on the site (for example, to check a CIBIL score) simply point you to a third-party service. They are not an endorsement of loan terms and don't change anything the calculator shows you.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
The calculator produces estimates, built from the numbers you enter and standard EMI, prepayment, and tax formulas. It doesn't know your lender's exact terms, your actual tax situation, or how markets will move, and mutual fund or SWP returns are assumptions you set, not guarantees or predictions. Treat every output as a starting point for your own thinking, not a final figure. Before making a real financial decision, verify the numbers that matter with a qualified professional (a CA, financial advisor, or your lender) and your loan's actual sanction letter or agreement.
4. No liability
This site is provided for informational and educational purposes only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage, or decision arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything it calculates or describes, including decisions about a property purchase, loan, prepayment, or investment. You're responsible for your own financial decisions.
5. "As-is", no uptime promises
The site is provided "as-is" and "as-available", without warranties of any kind. It may change, break, or become temporarily or permanently unavailable without notice. This is a side-project run by one person, not a service with an SLA.
6. Acceptable use
Use the site like a normal visitor. Don't try to scrape, abuse, overload, or disrupt it, attempt to break its security, or use it in a way that violates any applicable law. We reserve the right to restrict access for anyone who does.
7. Privacy
How this site handles data (cookies, analytics, advertising, and the fact that calculator inputs never leave your browser) is covered separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms by reference.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
